The Sidekick LX is a mobile phone that features multimedia functions, Internet-enabled capability to meet the needs of web-centric consumers, and social platform support that will allow users to access Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
One of the main highlights of this smartphone is the capability to support social platform that will allow users to access their social networking accounts such as MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, and even photo-sharing site Photobucket. To support easy navigation in these Internet properties, the phone has push notifications for messages and updates.
Another notable tool is the GPS and navigation technology designed to support Live Search Application map that provides exact road details and local search, allowing travelers to locate their destination easily. To complement this navigation tools, the device has geotagging capability that will help people to find location-specific information by allowing them to put their own photos in the maps.
The Sidekick LX also boasts 3.2-inch widescreen TFT display which can support 854 x 480 resolutions. But unlike some smartphones, this widescreen lacks Touch-sensitive Technology for fast applications.
The device also has a built-in 3.2 megapixel camera that features multiple image editing tools, settings, and modes that will allow users to capture great images with their mobile phone.
According to T-Mobile, the Sidekick LX is priced at $200 with a two-year plan and comes in two colors, purple and black.
Other features are: thin design (5.20 x 2.40 x 0.64-inch), M3 rated for hearing aids, 3G support, Internet radio, built-in music player, video support, talk-time up to 5.5 hours, and HSPA to support fast Internet access.
