As a camera phone, Samsung Memoir focus on providing intelligent image technologies to provide quality pictures—almost the same as high-end digicams—such as multiple shooting modes; Xenon Flash; auto focus; Optical Zoom; and Smile Shot Recognition that automatically takes a shot when it detects a smiling face.
Apart from taking still photos, the phone also can shoot high-resolution videos up to an hour in length.

Also, with TV-out tool, people can share their image files through slideshow by connecting the Samsung Memoir to television.

Another notable feature is the GPS technology ideal for business travelers and tourists. The navigation system includes turn-by-turn directions and TeleNav Technology that allows users to enter a specific address and the phone will display the location in its map.
