Panasonic 26-inch HDTV
The HDTV That Could
The Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV offers its users a good, theatre-like experience at a budget price.
If you’re looking for the perfect LCD HDTV that will not fit in your bedroom, office or even dorm room, then the Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV set is what you’re looking for. Its standard high-definition features promises to give you an amazing visual and sound experience, while watching your favorite TV shows and movies.
The Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV is widescreen television set that promise clear and vivid images with its screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. And with its 16:9 aspect ratio, expect images that can compare to theater-like images. Not bad for this small package.
The Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV looks good especially with its matte coat and port and buttons placed on the side and not on the front, keeping it real clean. Panasonic also included additional ports (composite, S-video and headphones) on the left-side panel, where external devices including a video camera can be hooked on to the unit. The Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV also offers five video presets (Personal, Rich, Natural, Soft and DVD/VCD) and four audio presets (Personal, Theatre, Music and Voice) to make for better viewing.
Cables are plugged in vertically on the side starting from the bottom. Since the unit is mounted to the wall, attaching anything on the back is virtually impossible. Putting the ports on the side solves this problem.
Being an HDTV set, analog viewing is fairly standard and mediocre. Using a digital TV tuner and maximizing its full HD-potential display makes TV through its HDMI connectors.
There were some issues with black or dark scenes in movies and shows with regards to image quality. It becomes dull and blended into the background. It’s not noticeable unless you really pay attention to it. Audio levels can also be distracting as it tends to be too extreme on both ends. Consider this factor if audio is important to you. You may opt to purchase a better speaker system for the TV though.
If you want to buy a mid-size television that still tries to promise and give you a better visual and sound experience, then try the Panasonic 26-inch LCD HDTV. It’s not bad at all.
