The Olympus FE-300 is a 12-megapixel point-and-shoot camera that features TruePicTM III Image Processor, a technology first developed for digital SLR cameras that supports true-to-life pictures by making the color appear sharper and vibrant and reducing the image noise. The camera also features “intelligent” technologies that will assist novice users to capture great photos.
The Olympus FE-300 is a 12-megapixel point-and-shoot camera that features photo technology including TruePicTM III Image Processor which is also used in some digital SLR that allows photographers to capture true-to-life pictures by reducing noise and making the lines and color appear sharper.
The camera also has 3x Optical Zoom Technology for adjusting the depth of field, thus allowing users to focus on a subject. However, this feature may appear paltry especially when some compact cameras are using more than 5x Zoom.
For a wider viewing angle, FE-300 has a 2.5-inch high resolution LCD panel which has been designed to support over 230,000 pixels and Backlight Boost Technology that allows users to view the pictures even in bright-lit rooms.
To capture a fast-moving object, the camera has Digital Image Stabilization, high ISO sensitivity, and faster shutter speed that make pictures appear clear and well-detailed. With these features, users will not miss out body movements and important sports scenes.

One of these is the Perfect Shot Preview that will allow users to see the results of different settings before they shoot their subject, thus allowing them to choose the best settings and modes that will give the most dramatic and perfect outcome.
In terms of “intelligent” technologies, FE-300 camera boasts Face Detection that tracks a subject’s face, automatically focuses the lens, and adjusts the setting before taking a shot, thus resulting to a more dramatic portrait.
Another “intelligent” technology is the Perfect Fix that supports photo editing tools that will allow users to remove red eyes, lighten the shadows and dark areas, and eliminate blur. With this feature, users can edit their photos directly on the camera without using their computers.
