Nikon, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end cameras, recently released the newest addition to its long line of Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras called Nikon D5000, which features an extensive range of built-in editing functions that is perfect for novice and expert photographers alike.

Much like its predecessor, the new D5000 has acquired the HD movie capability of the D90 called the D-movie and Live View feature which allows its users to play and get creative with their video footages and images even before they start shooting.

Nikon D5000 DSLRA designated button for the Live View function gives users an instant editing and viewing of their images.

Another amazing thing about the D-Movie and Live View feature is its high-definition audio capacity that captures sound wholly so users can record and watch their shots in their television screen using HDMI output.

Other options such as the different playback interface of folders, images, and calendar give the new D5000 a more enjoyable and more practical design quality.

All of these were made possible by the D5000’s 2.7-inch vari-angle LCD screen, which also gives photographers more flexibility and freedom in taking moving pictures and still photos. The mobility of the vari-angle LCD allows users to take pictures at any angle they want without compromising the steady grip and position of the shooter. Users can swing, twist, and pop the monitor at any angle to provide them a clear view in every shot.

Also with its built-in 2.9MP CMOS image sensor, the new D5000 is capable of shooting at various lighting conditions without any complications or distortion to the image quality. This amazing feature was achieved using the EXPEED, Nikon’s ultra-high speed image-processing system, which allows users to have a precision and quality to their images.

The high-sensitivity function of the new gadget, which is between ISO 200 and 3200, also makes the DSLR literally a point-and-shoot device. The high-speed precision of the 11-point AF system, combined with the high-performance shutter, makes the new D5000 on top of its class.

The Nikon D5000 is already available in all electronic stores for $729.
