Improving Navigation
Navman has improved its GPS units and produced the Navman iCN 520 GPS which promises to get you where you need to go to.
Navman has released its latest GPS model with improved features and qualities. With its user-friendly menu and 3.5-inch color display touch screen monitor, it’s hard to get lost with this GPS unit.
Operating with Navman’s SmartST software, it comes equipped with an SD card and a PC application that allows you install into your unit or delete maps already installed in the GPS unit. It also features Points Of Interest (POI) so you can save frequently visited places in the Navman iCN 520 without the need to input the information every time you need to access it.
Other convenient features include ETA, which announces an estimated time of arrival to your destination, Distance and Speed, for your own convenience. It also has navigation instructions, the volume level of which is adjustable. Its Back-on-Track feature allows the Navman iCN 520 GPS to recalculate its route automatically whenever you go off course.
It only weighs 168 grams and comes with a mounting bracket, remote control and power supply. And it also works straight out of the box. Just connect it to the cigarette lighter socket.
The main control is on the right hand side of the unit and features six buttons and a navigation button. The six buttons include the main menu, the power button, an ESC button to move back within the menu, the page button to move to different pages and the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to control the zoom levels.
Navigation views include a turn-by-turn option, 2d and 3d map view and an option to use a day mode or night mode. It comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery that last up to four hours.
Although there still is room for improvement in the Navman iCN 520 GPS, it has improved from the previous models and will guarantee that you will get to your destination with this unit.
