It doesn’t matter if you live or traveling in the US, Canada or Puerto Rico, the Garmin StreetPilot c330 will get you to where you want to go, no matter where.

Garmin StreetPilot c330 ImagePart of the Garmin’s GPS C series, the Garmin StreetPilot c330 is a compact GPS device with a 3.5 inch touch screen display that’s easy to use and ready for navigation. The c330 also comes with a 128mb SC memory card, full of preloaded maps of the US, Canada and Puerto Rico that can be viewed in either 2D or 3D maps.

The 3.5 inch and 320x240 pixel resolution diagonal touch screen comes with changeable faceplates and an internal battery for use outside the vehicle. It also includes a USB port to connect to your PC for any firmware or software updates, especially when you need to add more maps. And the screen can also be adjusted depending on the time of day and the amount of light coming into the car. Its bright colors allow you to see the screen during the day but it automatically switches to subdued colors at night so you won’t be blinded by the bright colors while driving.

The Garmin c330 will get you where you want to go easily. Two big buttons on the interface asks you two things: “Where do you want to go?” and “Show map”. You can also save several routes under the “My Locations” option, which saves you time by not having to program the same locations over and over again. But just in case you’re going to a place for the first time, the touch screen interface makes it easy to input any address in your Garmin StreetPilot c330.

There are around 5 million points of interest (POI) divided into several categories (Food, Lodging, Shopping, Parking, Hospital, Fuel and many others) for your own convenience. This especially helps when you are traveling to a new place. One disadvantage of the c330 is the absence of the text to speech feature. It tells you when to turn but not the street you’ll be turning onto.

The Garmin StreetPilot c330 still has some kinks to work out but overall, it’s a great GPS device that will get you where you want to go.
