Released in October 2008, the Garmin Nuvi 785T has been rated by GPSmagazine.com 4.5 out of 5 stars. Along with the other models of the 7x5 series, it includes text-to-speech features, maps of the US and Canada pre-installed in the device, 3-D buildings and street views, photo navigation and route planning. It also has a special feature, exclusive to 7x5 series, called Garmin Locate, where the owner can use the Garmin nuvi 785T to locate their parked car.
The Garmin Nuvi 785T also offers roadside assistance by showing, on its 4.3-inch display, which lane he should be in before making the turn. There’s no excuse for getting lost because this GPS device makes even unfamiliar territories easy to pass through and navigate. The 785T also takes notes of the speed limits for highways and interstates, which always come in handy when traveling in unfamiliar places. The 785T also gives real-time local weather, traffic news and updates as well as gas prices and local events.
Another great feature on the Garmin Nuvi 785T is its add-ons. The 785T is equipped with A2DP Bluetooth wireless technology that allows for hands-free calls and includes a built-in microphone and speaker. A wireless FM transmitter can also be used to connect to the car stereo to hear MP3s and audio books.
