3.2-megapixel Digital Camera
Canon Powershot a300 is a 3.2 megapixel digital compact camera that features multiple image technologies and video recording capability. Despite its relatively weak “features†compared to other high-end digital cameras which have been recently introduced in the consumer market, Powershot a300 at least comes at a cheap price (less than $200).
Canon Powershot a300 is a 3.2 megapixel digital compact camera that features multiple image technologies and video recording capability.
This compact camera pixel sensor can already provide “acceptable” photo quality, but when compared with Sony’s Cybershot series high pixel (from 8-megapixel to 12-megpixel), Powershot a300 has an apparent shortfall.
In terms of power source, the Powershot a300 camera uses two AA-size alkaline batteries (which seems to be outdated since most digicams are using Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries). Meanwhile, users can purchase AA rechargeable NiMH batteries if they do not want to use the disposable ones.
Just like most digital cameras, the Powershot a300 features: 5.1x digital zoom function (which is considered low since most have 10x zoom capability); movie mode to support up to three minutes of video recordings in VGA resolution; and auto-focus lens for a clearer photo quality.
To support different lighting conditions, the camera has a feature that allows users to manipulate the lens. Meanwhile, here are the other image tools which can provide good pictures: Red-eye Reduction Technology, White Balance, different shooting modes, and self-timer (shoots approximately 10 seconds).
The Powershot a300 digital camera comes at a starting price of less than $200, a value which is cheaper compared to high-end compact cameras available today.
